During the first quarter of 2019, China with 231 million and 69 thousand tons, India with 27 million and 333 thousand tons, Japan with 24 million and 971 thousand tons, respectively, the United States With 22 million and 226 thousand tons and South Korea with 18 million and 108 thousand tons were the top 5 steel-producing countries in the world.
