Leaching of copper sulfide concentrates
Abstract:
Usually copper from sulfide concentrate that It contains copper sulfide and iron sulfide. It can be extracted by thermal method (melting). But oxide compounds are processed by leaching . Another method of extracting copper from oxidized soils is the dissolution of these soils by hydrometallurgical method. In the industry, copper oxide tailings and copper oxide ores are leached with sulfuric acid and produced from copper-containing solution by solvent extraction and cathodic copper electrodining.
